Dear Lesley Uebel, You advised me some weeks ago [22/7/09] that Mary Henley per Lucy Davidson had made a convict application to marry James Taylor per Roslyn Castle which was refused. I have recently been able to view this record at SR. As you know this information is held in the 'Refused' index and is dated 20/9/1843. I was unable to find the original application to the Col Sec. I have reason to need to know the date that the application was first made; do you know if this record still exists? I am very grateful for your help, Stephanie.
