Thanks Elizabeth, I too had seen the church before the trees - about 30 years or so ago. My family had spent some school holidays at the caravan park at Wisemans Ferry and a friend had driven us along the road to see the old church. I recall no fencing and no trees or shrubs and you could stand inside, close your eyes and transport yourself back in time. At that time I wasn't aware that there were most probably ancestors who had attended church there or were buried in the cemetery. In fact I didn't even think of ancestors back then!!
