The "Hawkesbury Chronicle" newspaper reported in February 1888 the following statistics : WINDSOR 1886 Births 207 Deaths 77 Marriages 32 WINDSOR 1887 Births 213 Deaths 83 Marriages 28 The comment was that the births and deaths were "more numerous" whilst the "marriages (as in Richmond) have been less - which is regretted."
