    3. 6 October 1842 - At Morpeth, on the Hill, on the 1st instant, Mr. Richard Cornelious, aged thirty-three years. He was much respected, and his death deservedly regretted by an extensive circle of friends and acquaintances. 10 October 1842 - On the 15th September, on his returning from Carcoar to Bathurst, Mr. George Lake, aged forty years, formerly master of the whaling barque Harriet, of London, having struck against a projecting branch of a tree, was thrown from his horse, by which so severe a wound was inflicted in the head that instant death ensued. 31 October 1842 - At Paris, on the 16th day of December last, William Talbot White, Esq., proprietor of extensive estates, at St. Ann's, Jamaica, and brother to Mr. Henry White, surgeon, of Windsor, in this colony.
