Friday 6 September 1844 - At his residence, Honey Suckle Flat, in the District of Hartley, on the 17th August, Mr. Peter McPherson, Sen., aged 75 years, after a short but severe illness of four days. Friday 20 September 1844 - At Bathurst, on the 15th of August last, Eleanor, wife of Solomon Reedy. For the information of her friends at Portsmouth, the above was formerly Eleanor Smith, who arrived an emigrant in the colony, per ship Alfred, in 1838. Saturday 21 September 1844 - At Bathurst, on the 17th September, Mrs. Kite, wife of Mr. Thomas Kite, leaving a large family to lament their loss. Patricia
