    3. While gathering information to be indexed into www.ryersonindex.org I found the following marriages relating to the Hawkesbury List area in the Sydney Morning Herald. Thursday 6 June 1844 - On the 3rd instant, at St. Mary's Church, West Maitland, by the Rev. William Stack, B.A., William Bligh John O'Connell, Esq., 73rd Regiment, second son of His Excellency Lieutenant-General Sir M. C. O'Connell, to Mary Australia, eldest daughter of Richard Jones, Esq. Monday 10 June 1844 - On the 8th instant, at St. James's Church, by the Lord Bishop of Australia, Captain Edward M. O'Connell, 99th regiment, Brigade Major, at Sydney, to Sarah, second daughter of Major W. Russell, of Toobimba, Hunter River, late 20th Regiment. Friday 14 June 1844 - By special license, on the 13th, at St. Bartholomew's Church, Prospect, by the Rev. John Troughton, Joseph Pye, Jun., of Eastern Creek, to Eliza, fourth daughter of John Tindale, Esq , of Sydney. Friday 21 June 1844 - By special license, at St. Mary's Cathedral, by the Very Rev. Francis Murphy, V.G., Mr. James Brady, King-street West, grocer, to Hanoragh, eldest daughter of Mr. J. Ryan, of Maitland, settler. Patricia
