While gathering information to be indexed into www.ryersonindex.org I found the following deaths relating to the Hawkesbury List area in the Sydney Morning Herald. 14 April 1845 - On Wednesday, 9th instant, at Stroud, Port Stephens, at the residence of her son, Mr. William Darby, after a long and painful illness, aged 66, Emily, widow of the late Major George Elde Darby, and daughter of Captain Langford, R.N., of Southampton, Hants. 18 April 1845 - At Bathurst, on the 1st instant, Mr. James Siddle, builder, aged 27 years. 21 April 1845 - At his residence, Newcastle, on the 18th instant, after a lingering illness of ten months, Mr. William Cox, late Wesleyan Schoolmaster in the above town, and formerly of Killalah, county Mayo, Ireland, aged 35 years, leaving a wife and five children to deplore their loss, and deeply regretted by a numerous circle of Christian friends, who sincerely loved him.
