Saturday 2 November 1844 - At Bathurst, on the 23rd ultimo, Matilda, the infant daughter of Mr. Nicholas Read, of the Good Woman Inn, aged eight months. Wednesday 6 November 1844 - On the 11th of October, in consequence of a fall from his horse, whilst on his route from Mudgee to Carivel, Mr. W. Hawkers, son-in- law to Mr. John Nevell, of Carivel, leaving a wife and two children to deplore their loss. Thursday 7 November 1844 - At Hatchard Grove, near Richmond, after a short illness, Margaret Selina Gibbons, aged fourteen months and five days. Friday 8 November 1844 - At Newcastle, at midnight, between the 2nd and 3rd instant, in the twenty-fourth year of his age, very deeply regretted, William, younger son of the Rev.
