    3. Or John had two wives one after the other. Or John had two wives at the same time. Or her name was Alice Susan Brennan ( called Susan ) and sometimes the registrar used her "first" name and sometimes he used the name she actually used. Not kidding, I have all of these in my family. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marie Donaldson" <mariedonaldson@optusnet.com.au> To: <AUS-NSW-HILLS-HAWKESBURY-HUNTER-VALLEY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, July 23, 2002 4:09 PM Subject: [H,H,HV] Gullam Gallum Gullum etc > Looking for John Gullum and wife Susanne Brennen (Brennan) who had Mary Jane at Windsor in 1861, Margaret born and died 1865, John b 1866 d 1868, William born 1868. 3. Hi Alison and List! Thanks for the info - am still "recovering" from the info uncovered yesterday - Eleanor and Ormsby were indicted for murder of a police sergeant - with Ormsby being "shipped" off to Newcastle with kids and Eleanor doing time in Parra Gaol... havent had a chance to get more detail as yet (have to earn a crust somewhere in amongst this stuff...) But thanks for the tip on the Tas List and I will catch up with that thread also! BTW, am also interested in the Cribb line, the Hewitt Line who married into the Skuthorpes! Thanks again! Liz

    3. Hi Phyllis, I'm not sure if you already have this, but there was a John NEICH, who married Sarah CLARK, in 1890 (Windsor) - both are buried at St. James Cemetery, Pitt Town, along with other family members. I'd say they'd be related to your lot, as John NEICH took up an 80 acre grant along the Cattai Ridge in 1888. There is also a Neich Road at both Maraylya and Hillside (Cattai Ridge). Also, I remember mention of Bill "Clicker" CLARK who was related to the NEICH's in some way. I don't have any family connections, but did do some some historical work for the local school some years back - John and Sarah and their descendants had a long association with the school and local community. (Some of the family were timbergetters). I'm not sure where you are ?, but I know of two NEICH descendants who live at Windsor/Richmond and the Central Coast. Let me know "off list" if you would like their contact details.
