Hello Louise, There were two brothers Peter and Duncan , convicts on the "Lloyd" Peter married Harriet Hall, and lived around Black Creek. The Hall family is associated with the names of Jones, Jackson,Sweeney, Richardson, Tennant, Sylvester. Peter gave Catherine Sweeney and John Jackson jnr away in marriage with Thomas Sweeney as the couple were under age in 1856. I have a copy of his trial at the Old Bailey, a reference to his trial in the Times, and his will. There are also plenty of references to him in the Colonial Secretary's correspondence, and the famiy was mentioned in the various early musters and in the 1828 Census.
