Hi Carol, Indirectly I have the below mentioned couple on my database. Contact me off-list - sunchase@iinet.net.au Glynis wheeler > Elizabeth Taylor, who married Gilbert Porter in 1874 in Tamworth. She was > born in 1851 in Singleton, but her parentage is unknown.
Hi Michelle, I would like to volunteer, but I live in Brisbane. Would that be a problem? I did some indexing of the 1891 and 1901 census for Lorraine Stacker in Penrith Library if I need a reference. Anne, The run is very incomplete so there are only a few issues for the whole period. It would not take very long to actually go through them. It would be a nice little indexing project if any keen listers out there are interested??? Hello everyone. Does anyone know whether the Hawkesbury Courier for the above years is indexed? I am still trying to find information re the ANSEL family of Windsor. Many thanks ANNE
Hello, This is my first posting to this list. I am seeking information on George ROGERS born 1834 Ireland. Married: Jessie Maria HORTON 1867 Syd. Children were Lucinda Newihan, William Horton, George, Charles Horton, Henry Lancelot & Jessie Maria. The family were living in George Street Windsor in 1881 and Sorrell Street Parramatta in 1885. I believe George had a business "Rogers Drapery" in George Street Parramatta & in the mid 1880s had moved to Church Street, Parramatta. Would like to hear from anyone with a connection to this family. Sue.
