    3. Replies to either are acceptable Rhonda, I usually use reply when responding to an enquiry to show the List someone has replied or found the information required, after that if further research is indicated I use Reply All to put the person in my address book then send messages privately. Patricia, Australia Dear Patricia Thank you for responding to my email. I'm very interested in the death record you have indicated for Michael Moran 1853. I will follow this up as I am very interested in discovering who Patrick Moran's parents were, as I cannot find a plausible death certificate for him and I am hoping that finding out who he was and where he came from may help me. I do have a Michael Moran from the 1841 census at Pitt Town who I have suspected may be Patrick's father but have not been able to prove it. Can you tell me Patricia as I am new to the list whether it is protocol to reply directly to you or to the list? 3. Dear Rhonda, Just recently a book of transcriptions was issued by Lake Macquarie Family History Group of transcriptions of the St Matthews CE Church Register. This is their third book and now up to 1950. In the first book there is only one MORAN, a John who was a witness at a marriage. No HAGAN entries. Unfortunately also the Catholic Church is St Matthews so you will need to clarify which church they married in. Sincerely,Bill > This is my first time posting to the list. Hi Eusebeia, The Windsor Library has a collection of Family Research Folders that have been donated by people who are willing to share their research. These folders are not for loan and can only be accessed at the library. Some hold only a little and some can be a wealth of information (I recently got a huge amount of newspaper clippings etc. on one of my rellies). 3. Hi List, I am searching for information on James Robert Wooderson who came to Australia after 1861 (found marriage details in England Dec 1861 to person unknown) and he then married Margaret Emma Cavander in January,1868 in Newcastle. According to 1861 Census he was in the Royal Navy in Britain. I have not been able to locate details of him arriving in Australia but have found the above marriage and also found details of the birth of their children. The Wooderson family appears to have lived around the Newcastle, Wallsend, Scone area. It looks like James's father Henry along with Jame's siblings came to Australia sometime in the 1860's. I would appreciate any suggestions as to where to look for further information on this family. Many thanks Marie
