Dear Lesley, The closest one I know of is St Peters CE Church at the western end of the main street in Richmond before dropping down onto the flood plain. Not aware of a headstone transcription, but there is someone at the church with the records that "survived". Sincerely,Bill > Hi, My husband's ancestor John Moore died 10th January 1851 North > Richmond. > > Does anyone have any knowledge of the cemeteries there and if the > inscriptions have been digitised or in a book.

Is there anyone on the list that may be able to help me with the trial transcript for Sarah Gittens. She was arraigned before the Assizes for the town Of Shrewsbury, County of Salop (Shropshire) on the 14th January 1790, and sentenced the following day to transportation for 7 years beyond the seas. I would appreciate any help or direction that the members of this list may be able to give. Regards Keith Skinner
Hi List, Has anyone experienced any inter-faith marriages around circa 1830 in the Hunter Region. My ancestors where first married in 1830 in a Maitland CofE Church and then again re-married in 1831 in an RC church prior to the baptism of their first born. The current assumption is: - no RC church existed at the time of their initial marriage Can anyone confirm this ?, (or does anyone have any other plausible suggestions) For example: Could the spouse be CofE and the bride be RC. All children were baptized as RC Any help would be appreciated Thanks [email protected]
Dear Jason, With the exception of Ernest you may find the other deaths on the NSW Probate Index and if they are listed there the Probate Packet at State Records KINGSWOOD containing all the working papers to carry out the wishes in the will could contain more information. Jason, if you go to the RootsWeb WorldConnect database at: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi and type in the surname Rayner and put Connor in the spouse box, there are some contributors who share your interests. Click on the relevant person on the left hand side then click on Register at the top of the screen to have the information displayed in register view. There are email contact details at the top of the page. Juliette
Lee, Thank you. It actually listed his wife's name as next of kin. One of the other members has suggested that maybe instead of William C as listed in Births it maybe should have been E. So will follow that up as well. Once again many thanks. The more suggestions help with answers. Marie, If you have his WW1 records, available on-line, it will give you a next of kin - usually father and, if not, then mother then down the family line.
