Hello Everyone I am new to this list and as far as I know only have one family connection to the Central Coast. I am descended from Robert CREIGHTON (1788-1872) and his wife Eliza Ann DUNLOP (c1788-1878). Robert and Eliza emigrated from Ireland in 1839 per 'Jessie' with their children- William Creighton (born Ballymore, Ireland in 1827), Elizabeth Creighton (born Ireland in 1828), Margaret Creighton (born Ireland in c1830?) and Robert Creighton (born Downpartick, Ireland in 1832). William Creighton married Sarah FITZPATRICK (listed as Fitzgerald in NSWBDM) in 1853 at St. James Church, Sydney. These are my Gt. gt. grandparents. Elizabeth Creighton married William MUDDLE in 1853 at the Anglican Church, Kincumber; Margaret Creighton married Robert Carvel WHITE in 1854 at the Anglican Church, Kincumber Robert Creighton married Mary Dulcibella PIPER in 1857 at St. Andrew's Anglican Cathedral, Sydney . William & Sarah Creighton are my Gt. gt. grandparents. They lived most of their lives in Sydney, but I believe they may have had some children in the Brisbane Waters area that may have actually been registered in Sydney. Their children were- Robert Creighton (1854-1854). I am not positive about this child being theirs! William P. Creighton (1857-1919) George Creighton (c1861) Elizabeth Jane Creighton (a.k.a. Eliza Jane). (1864-1913). My Gt. Grandmother who married William PATE, then William MORRIS. Emily Creighton (1867). Was married to an Unknown FLEMING in 1913. Adelina Creighton (1869) (a.k.a Ada). Married George HERBERT in 1895 Margaret Creighton (1880) Percy Creighton (1883). Can't find birth record but could be Sydney T. Creighton born in 1883 to William & Sarah Creighton. I would be delighted to hear from any Creighton descendents. I can add to the above, but also have gaps and mysteries of my own! Happy New Year Wendy Mckenzie
