Hello Mike, I will send a pic of William Beaven's headstone to your email address if I can get it to scan satisfactorily. I took the photo about 20 years ago, and it's printed on stippled paper - not the best for scanning! However, it will give you some idea of what it looks like until somebody else will take a new photo for you perhaps. The inscription reads as follows: "IN MEMORY OF/WILLIAM BEAVEN/born March 1st 1810,/died April 29th, 1887. "Long days and nights he bore with pain/To seek for rest, but all in vain;/Till God himself who thought it best,/To end his suffering gave him rest. "It is hard to part with those we love,/On earth to meet no more./But Oh! what peace and joy to know,/They are only gone before. ALSO ISABELLA/Wife of the above/died August 14, 1904/Aged 82." Best wishes, Gwen
