    3. Hi list, I found this very old Wyong Real Estate book but it is not dated and would love to know what era it was published. I have listed below the names of early farmers listed in the book and hope someone may know, they were not selling their farms, they were just telling prospective land buyers how successful their farms were and of the growth of the Wyong Shire. There are also photos of these farmers. Mr J E Waters - 1st Prize at the Ag Show for growing maize - judge Alex Wilkinson J.P. Trevitt's Seedlings Mr Leopard built "Rose Cottage" Mr Strugess's Grape Farm Mr Barnes's Farm House "Garryowen" owned by Mr Phillips Mr Smith's lettuce patch and children picking strawberries Mr Ponton's Farm Mr Suggett's corn farm Mr Watson's famous orchards Van Stappen with white leghorns Lindsay's poultry farm - passionfruit and pumpkin patch Mr Smith's apple orchards Mr Deane - oranges and tomatoes Mr Mowbrey's cottage and farm Mr Steel's poultry farm There are also very early photos of subdivision maps of which none had been sold and the add reads like this: CAMPING BLOCKS - NO MUD, NO SHARKS, NO SAND FLIES, NO HIGH TIDE, THE RIVER IS ALWAYS THE SAME HEIGHT. PRICE 35 POUND, DEPOSIT ONE POUND, BALANCE 2/6- PER WEEK, PAYABLE TO SUIT YOURSELF. (wouldn't that be a nice way to pay off the mortgage ?) Regards Colleen
