Hi marg and List members Every now an then we find something unexpected when we research our ancestors. Last week was my turn. While searching the PICMAN data base at the state library web site I entered the ORPEN and up popped an entry. a Mrs Helen Turner had donated some family papers to the Library on the family of James Gay & Henry Darling, who was the 2nd husband of Mary Grant. James Gay was her daughter Jessie's husband Off I went to the Mitchell Library to have a look.and found 2 original letters from the Rev Alfred Glennie to Mary. dated14th March 1867sent from the parsonage at Lochinvar. Mary grant and her first husband John Orpen lived at East Gosford and John died in 1866 Made my week regards Faye
