Dear Listers Been an interesting few days learning alittle more of the history of this area from around a dozen of so subscribers What about the rest of you ?????????? Dont any more have early ancestors who settled here ?or failing that have an interest in the history of this area ? There are around 120 fence sitters who dont appear to ever contribute When I have time I print bits & bobs from the old Gosford Times I get when I go to Gosford Library and re type to the list . Dont get many comments about these Some of the obits cover several columns and are nearly a Claytons census of names and of where of local families. In the library yesterday I tripped over a 1911 Post Office Directory of NSW and photocopied the pages for Gosford, Woy Woy and Wyong ....... I forgot The Entrance .
