    3. Hi Marg, I can not claim to have Ancestors that were one of the first to settle on the Central Coast, but I must say I was thrilled to open the Central Coast Express on Friday to find my father in-law (Mick Wells) in a Lisarow School photo dated 1933. It was in conjunction with the History of the Lisarow General Store and we were able to phone the store's new owners and let them know the names of many of the grade 4 students, not sure if it made me feel excited or "Old". Our first ancestors to arrive on the Central Coast were MARY ANN WELLS (daughter of Thomas Wells per Baring 1815 & Martha Shaw per Brothers 1824) and husband JOHN WOODBURY, they had their first child, Priscilla registered in Gosford 1859, although other children were born in Wollombi, Priscilla married into the Waters family at Yarramalong.
