Hi Marg, The old 1880s Gosford post office, referred to in the 1905 snippet from the Times, was conducted in Mann Street South. I spent a fair bit of time running in and out of the place as it was used there until a new post office was built and opened at the corner of Watt and Erina Streets. It had by that time become Gosford South PO. Still there opp Gosford Public School, but part of the Telstra buildings I think - haven't checked on it for a long time. Pam Williams is the expert on Mann St, as she and her co-author John Lewis have been deep into research for some time. Regards, Gwen
