    3. Hi everyone, I have just joined the list, I am trying to find information on my ggrandfather, Neils Peter Andersen aka Captain Peter Anderson who resided at Alexandria in New South Wales from 1879 to 1928 when he died. He worked for the North Coast Steam Ship Navigation Company and sailed along the coast of New South Wales as well as foreign ports. Some of the ships he captained were the Tintenbar, Bonalbo, Dorrigo, Excelsior, Karuah, Corea, Canonbar and Coombar. He has a huge monument for him at Botany cemetery. I have read the Northern River Run, but was wondering if anybody out there has ever come across his name. We have been researching him for years but he has remained illusive. I actually read through the minute books of the NCSN and was able to locate him but only as mention of captains reports. If anybody out there can assist me in any way with advice I would be so greatful. Maureen

    3. Hi Maureen, I don't have your fellow, sorry, but I DO have a Neils Peter Andersen, b. 1953 to Walter (Jack) and Ethel. Is this a very common name among Andersens, or might there be a connection?
