Hi, The following site has been brought to my attention and from what I know seems to be fairy new? It may be of interest to those researching convict ancestors or ancestors that were involved in legal cases one way or another in the UK. This is a project of the History department of the University of Hertford and can be found at http://www.oldbaileyonline.org This lists criminal proceedings at the Old Bailey from the 17th century onwards. You can search by surnames, keywords etc. and read the prisoners' and witnesses' words. Regards, Ted Bryant
