Pays to keep up with what happening ( send an email ro [email protected] ) If you got this weeks you probably would have seen a short story from me A few days prior to Christmas I suddenly remembered I had forgotten to send a Chrissy card one of my mothers REDDING cousin in England . By way of atonement I thought I'd send him a print out of what REDDING family info I had gathered. Was reading thru this as alot was research I'd done a few years ago, when a name leapt off the page and I wondered........ One of my gpas brothers had been named Henry Mortleman REDDING. Had known that for ages and thought no more of it :-) Silly me. A classic case of not practising what I preach aka.of leaving no stone unturned . This turned out to be a ruddy great rock that set the MORTLEMAN families main researcher ( in S Aus ! ) abuzz in the form of a stray located . That stray was Eliza GROVE. one of my gt gt gmothers, whose maiden name, MORTLEMAN I discovered on Christmas Day 2000.
