Hi Mary I have a connection by marriage with the Glanville family - my great aunt May Hoffman from Sussex Inlet married Henry Glanville, son of Daniel and Eliza. They lived at "Mondyong" just off Sussex Inlet Road on the 'road' to Berrara. I have a bit of information on them, there is another researcher on the SE list, Greg Lloyd, who is a descendant of Charlotte, Henry's sister. I know that a younger son, Thomas, moved to the Richmond area when the Big Scrub was opened up. I come from Jervis Bay, went to Nowra High School and remember the Lidbetter name - I probably went to school with members of you or your husband's families. My family are sawmillers south of Nowra, an offshoot of the central coast Davis family but I doubt that there is a connection with Sydney 1810 or Jamberoo 1820. We are descended from William and Sarah Davis, who arrived in the early 1830s from County Roscommon Ireland. They initially settled in Wollongong before moving to Brisbane Water 1838 (39?) - could William have had connections here?
