That is another reason for mailig lists that you dont necessarliy have to go to the the area to get the info you seek I did initially look up some info for you But thought you would have got some reaction so didnt send what I found . There is a McPherson Road on the Tuggarah side of the Wyong river. Its thought the their farm would have been in this area John & Isabelle ROBLEY had the Union Hotel in Gosford and also both the Royal and Commercial Hotels Wyong at one time . Isabelle ROBLEY was also a local midwife . She died in Aug 1944 aged 100 The name McPherson Estate wasnt familiar to several people I asked . there is the Mardi Dam in the McPherson road area Incidently I have ROBLEYs from Carlisle , UK in one of my husbands families. were did this ROBLEY family come from ? Thats all I was able to find out in the short time I spent in the Tuggarah Library . I must say I am really pleased that you've > organised the thing - it will be a great resource. I live in hope !
