Hello Marg and all listers of this new list, and Congratulations. My name is Robyn Arkinstall, and I live on the beautiful Central Coast at Gosford. My husband's 2 Greats Maternal Grandfather was Ezekiel WATERS who was an early Pioneer of the evergreen Yarramalong Valley. Ezekiel and Jane (nee Williamson) came to OZ from Ireland, first settled in Hexham, but floods forced them to up sticks and move to the Yarramalong Valley. They produced a family of 6, 5 reaching adulthood, and left many, many descendants. Our line descends from their last born son Robert Irvine Coulter. Robert Irvine Coulter WATERS-(1850-1930) & his wife Elizabeth (nee BAILEY)-(1855-1914) had a large family of 14, where all but 1 survived and as they lived on the Central Coast, there must be hundreds of local descendants. Some associated names of the family include ATCHISON,KENNEDY,CAWTHORNE,JURD,STACKMAN,COOPER,EDEN/HAYES,CRAFT,HITCHCOCK and QUIGLEY. I have a large database on some of these descendants and am always on the look-out for information or photographs which I can borrow to scan into my files.
