William Sixsmith was the driver of the first train in NSW, between Sydney and Parramatta in the 1850s (think that's right, railway buffs??). He has an imposing monument in Rookwood Cemetery - there's a pic of it in the book published some years ago about this place, but sorry I can't remember the name of it. I had to look him up once, as he has descendants in Western Australia. Regards, Gwen
