hi Sharon, Hi, I have been reading your posts with interest and thinking about the name Winn when lo and behold today you talk about your brother Lynton Thomas Winn. There can't be too many people of that name and I reckon I went to school with him at Gosford High in the 1950's. I wonder though whether he was really born in 1942 as he would then have been very young for our year as we were more 1941. We did the leaving in 1958 and he went into the RAAF. I organised the 40th anniversary school reunion in 1994 and he came from Melbourne. My maiden name was Rogers and I still live on the Central Coast- Green Point nowadays though it was E Gosford when I organised the reunion.. usual small world. I'll have to read your posts much more closely. I think I have deleted earlier ones. May be able to help too if I get time. Is he still in Melbourne? Ironically I will be going there soon as my eldest daughter lives there and is about to produce our first grandchild so have to dash there to do the new grandmother bit- cooking cleaning and washing Best wishes, Judy Gifford ----- Original Message ----- From: Sharon Griffiths <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, 7 March 2001 3:37 Subject: MARG from Broome Thursday AM > Mum > Elizabeth Mary Lorraine CHILDS > Born Blackheath UK 19/1/21 > Edgeware outskirts of London > > Married Pinner Middlesex England date June 1942 or could be 1941 in Cof E > > Lynton Thomas WINN my eldest brother was born on Xmas Day 1942 > Then my sister Beverley Lorraine WINN was born 10/01/1946 >
