Hi Listers, I am trying to trace my great great grandparents, William & Charlotte LONG, who lived in the Gosford/ Erina area in the 1840's/1850's. Their daughter Louisa (my great grandmother) was born on 2nd May 1855 in Mosquito-Town. All that I know of Charlotte, is that her maiden name was HEARNEY, and that she passed away before Louisa married in 1874. The only information that I have on William, are his occupations. On Louisa's birth certificate his occupation is listed as 'Sawyer', he was a farmer at the time of Louisa's marriage, and on her death certificate it states that William was a bushman. As Louisa was baptised as a Roman Catholic (in 1855 at Gosford, Minister - Henry N. Woofrey), I assume that William & Charlotte were also Catholic. Until I find Charlotte & William's death certificates, I am not 100% sure of the siblings to Louisa. I know this is a very long shot, but does any of this sound familiar to anyone out there? if so, please contact me. With thanks in advance Dianne Turnbull
