Hi Jenny I used to live on Jones Island! It's north of Taree, part of the Manning delta - the Pacific Highway crosses it with a bridge each end. The village on Jones Island is Croki, used to be a thriving riverside town. One of my gggrandfathers, Joe Laurie, had businesses there (I didn't know that when I lived there) A friend of ours bought the little church at Croki and turned it into a wonderful house - that might have been the Church of Scotland. The Lauries probably had something to do with that, too.
