Pam I'll be interested to hear more about your Donald Cameron, I have a Donald W Cameron, b 1878 at Grafton, 4th son and child of Duncan & Alice ( n.Boyce) Cameron. Both Cameron and Boyce families have connections with the Hunter, pre 1869. Havent traced who he married, so just a bit of a long shot if your Donald is his son.
