    2. David and Sandra Bales
    3. Currently only about 20 of the approximate 100 NSW regional papers that are being indexed , have a volunteer available to do look ups. As an attempt to remedy this, up to 8 volunteers are being sought, preferably new to Ryerson volunteering. Might you or some friends be available to do look ups at the State Library about once a month. Requirements : ability to get to the NSW State Library                                 A library membership card – they are free to any NSW resident                                 A willingness to have a cuppa and chat with like minded people at Trim Cafe at the library                                 An aversion to formal meetings and copious minutes                                       Availability on Tuesday 4th June for a one off training session in a room at the library of 2 hours at either 9.30 or 11.30 for a maximum of 4 people each session. Please send questions or requests for information direct to me. Regards, David Central Coast NSW sdbales@gmail.com Sent from Mail for Windows 10

    2. Hello Marg, The Ticknells are connected somehow to my Settree family, and I think they're from Davistown. Other than that, I have no idea where Judith might live. Good luck with your search. Been a member of he Central Coast FHS for a LONG time. With your assistance, I finished my research on the family (Crause Spears) a few years back and outputted a little book for the future generations to hopefully reference. Did the CC FHS get copy ? Our current project is history of folk buried at Pt Frederick Cemetery. A previous one was editing and transcribing the Central Coast Bench books 1826 - 1874 Was published on 3 CDs and in 3 books. Have been helping others for nigh on 30 years . Looked up a few records on these 2 folk . NSW State Archives doesn't list any info on either . Have a few local books and nothing pops up on either name . Apart from marrying here, their first 2 children were possibly baptised here ? with later births registered in either Redfern or Chippendale. Did find ref to a John PICKFORD as a Tassie convict ? Are 2 PICKFORD / MINCHIN public trees on Ancestry which give scant info. John PICKFORD don't leave a will and neither's death is in the Ryerson indexes.
