Hi List Is this town in our area? If so, can SKS tell me if there is a transcription done of Narrandera cemetery. I am still following up my family connection with John McCaughey who died on 20 June 1928. My great great aunt, who I think married him at some stage, did not seem to get a look in at the family funeral. I am intrigued to know if she got a mention on the headstone. He is buried in the Presbyterian portion beside his brother Sir Samuel McCaughey. Thanks Jill
Yep, there is a transcription of the Narrandera cemetery For the life of me can't think of it's name - along the lines of the Narrandera cemetery I'd suggest. From memory, it was done by the Wagga and District Family History Group I know that the National Library holds a copy, so there must be some about. I'd start with the Wagga family history group - they have a website which should give you their contact details (Narrandera is about 100km west of Wagga) Cheers Shane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nelson & Livingstone" <panjil@bigpond.net.au> To: <AUS-NSW-CENTRAL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, October 26, 2003 6:54 PM Subject: [NSW-C] McCaughey - Narrandera Cemetery > Hi List > Is this town in our area?
