Although two of them were not registered at birth. > Family story has it that Ellen died soon after my Grandfather was born, could be 6 weeks or 2 years no one seems to know, have been told she was the first white woman to be buried in the Condoblin Cemetery? Charles H was a carrier, he had an accident with his horse team and crushed his right leg, it was amputated in Orange, but he died of Tetanus. The death certificate I had for him shows this to have happened in 1880, I cant find any reference to the death in the online BDMs or in the 'fiche at my local research library. > Would any one else on this list be looking for this family, there do seem to be other descendants, of the William and Mary Ann JEFFERY who arrived in Australia from Kent in 1838, still living in the Condoblin area, haven't all the surnames at my finger tips at the moment. > Thank you for taking the time to read this, any information would be really appreciated. > Susan JEFFERY > LISMORE NSW >
