Hello, Sally, I'm afraid you've got a mismatch here. Ellen Herbert was my husband's aunt and the Francis Gray she married at Bogan Gate in 1920 was actually Francis Alec and known as Alec. I think he may have been born at Stansted in England, son of Alfred - I'm not absolutely certain of that though.
