Dear Alywynne, Do you have any way to get to the State Library in Melbourne ??? they would have copies of any newspapers on Micro-film. If not could you get to a local Library ?? there is a interlibrary exchange service where we can borrow items from other libraries. Worth looking into. Good luck.
