Dear Clare, Have just sent an email to Una asking for more info on the Myers and then came across your email! I feel pretty sure we are on the same family. My connection is with Alexander Myers, son of Jacob and Ann Clegg. (and possibly brother of Lewis-Louis) . Alexander married Mary Ryan, daughter of Brigid Hennessy and Michael Ryan. The Hennessys & Ryans are my main family of research. I know that Alex had a cordial factory with his brother Abraham in Queanbeyan around the 1870's but that is probably the extent of my knowledge on this family. I have the following on Jacob: - Apparently he was also married twice, First to Caroline Thomas (no children?) and then to Ann Clegg.He was a House servant, convicted Old Bailey 19 May 1825, pickpocket. Transportation for life, arrived Sydney, Sept 1826 on "Marquis of Huntly". 5ft 4.5in tall, ruddy freckled complexion, dark brown hair, black eyes, could read.Granted T/L 1837 for Liverpool, then Campbelltown in April 1840. Grocer in Liverpool 1839>Yass in 1840's Hotel keeper , Commercial Hotel Castlereagh & King St Sydney, 27 May 1854.
