    3. Many thanks, Linda. That's most helpful. I went to the Young Witness website and emailed them, but the message bounced back address unknown. I'm surprised that they have an incorrect address on their website, but maybe they just haven't updated. I guess the next step is to call them and ask for the correct address. cheers, Alwynne ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Barraclough" <kapana@netspace.net.au> To: <AUS-NSW-CENTRAL-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, September 06, 2003 9:57 PM Subject: Re: [NSW-C] Newspapers around Young > Just for reference, from the Union List of Newspapers in Australian > Libraries (1975 edn) the newspapers at Young were: > > Burrangong Argus 1864-1913 > > Burrangong Courier and Lambing Flat General Advertiser May-Nov 1862 > > Miner and General Advertiser 1861-1862 > > South West News Pictorial 1864 + (Took over Burranong Argus and Young > Chronicle) (also under other names such as Young Witness) > > Young Chronicle 1874-1947 > > > > Cheers > > Linda > > >
