In 1875 several newspapers were asked to write articles about their areas- these articles to be shown at the Melbourne-Philadelphia Exhibition.These included Mudgee,Riverina,Wellington and Wilcannia.The Wilcannia and Riverina articles are the ones that will come out later on NSW-WEST.Naturally since Wellington and Mudgee are well outside this area these articles will not be appearing. Since I have only recently found out that I have relatives at Wellington I knew nothing about the area.Therefore I found the Wellington article very interesting as it gave both the history and present ie 1875 details.
