    3. G'day All, I'm new to the list and hope there is help out there, because I've hit a brick wall. I've been "chasing" my ancestor, Neil NICHOLSON and his wife Elizabeth, who were married in Echuca in 1877. They must have gone to Melbourne from there, because they had two children born at Emerald Hill (South Melbourne). The next child was born in 1883 at Narrandera, followed by another at Cootamundra in 1886. I thought I'd caught up with them when I came across a Neil NICHOLSON's death in Sydney (ex NSW BDM) but, alas, it was not him. I've lost track of them at Cootamundra. Can SKS tell me if there are any records about Cootamundra in that era that may show their presence there? It may just give a lead as to where they may have ended up. Any help would be much appreciated. Marion Expat Aus. in NZ

    3. Hi Marion, Have you, perchance, ordered any of those birth certificates that might give us clues as to an occupation, especially the one in Cootamundra??? And have you checked for deaths in Queensland??? And do you know where any of the children ended up???? Just to help my slow thinking processes - not that I will have the answers, but they may help someone else with a clue.
