I would be grateful for a lookup Cowra cemetery records, not only of the record of headstones but also of old documentary records.. My G.G.Grandfather, EDMUND MARKHAM , of Spring Vale, on Milburn Creek, near present Wyangala Dam, died, age 64, in or around April, 1866. The only record I have is a third hand comment from a grandson that he recalled being at the funeral at Cowra cemetery. Despite much searching over 30 years, including enquiries of the older Markhams in the area, many of whom have passed on, I have no certificate of death (NSW Registrar has confirmed no record) or any other detail as to where he was buried; My Grandfather, (who married Margaret Markham, Edmund's granddaughter in 1900), FRANCIS CONYNGHAM MURRAY, 48, died of tuberculosis at Darbys Falls, between Cowra and Wyangala on 14 Feb 1906. My late father was certain he was buried at Cowra cemetery, but we have no record. Kind regards Frank Murray, Canberra
