    3. Viv, After I replied to your first posting I searched on google for Euroka and came up with the following, Parks and Wildlife may be able to give you some of the history of the place - www.npws.nsw.gov.au/parks/metro/bluemt/bmstayEuroka, near Glenbrook (currently closed for rehabilitation following the 2002 bushfires). This grassy area near the beautiful Nepean River gorge is well known for its population of eastern grey kangaroos and wallabies. You won’t need your fuel stove here: firewood and fireplaces are provided. There are also composting toilets and picnic tables, but there’s no drinking water so bring plenty with you. Unless you have an annual pass, you’ll need to buy a $6 vehicle day pass for each day your car is in the park. You’ll also need to pay camping fees: $5 (adults) and $3 (children) per day. Bookings are essential two weeks in advance – email the park office or phone 02 4588 5247. Joy
