Tracing for a friend ,looking for information on the names SENNETT. PATTON. My mother Lillian Sennett b. 1906-7 Bathurst area, she stated on my birth cert, Mother Wilma Patton. Father James Sennett, occupation unknown. Cannot find any cert, at all ,no marriage for Wilma and James, no births or deaths. Nothing on my mother either, no birth, her marriage to my father, 22May 1937 in Tamworth NSW is not registered. I have been to the court house and enquired. Checked all the churches, especially the Catholic. Had the BDMS check page by page for all marriages in the area. Checked all the other sources, newspaper etc. . My mother lived and worked in Manly NSW in the 30s and then went to Quirindi where she met and married my father. From then on she is well documented and on the elect. roll from 1939 till her death in same town in 1948. Its just her background I cant find or her parents. Hope some one can help her, thanks Carole

Hey there What about Forbes? We are between Parkes and West Wyalong and we were established in 1861 before either of those towns. Are we just a voice in the wilderness? Jean Little Forbes http://movies.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo! Movies - What's on at your local cinema?
I am interested in the KING & HAZELTON families of Dubbo area. Athol Keith KING married Marie Ellen HAZELTON in 1943 Registered at Dubbo, Ref No. 16066 Marie died in a road accident on Friday 8 December 1972 on the road between Dubbo & Gilgandra. The Daily Liberal newspaper articles also mentioned some other names. I would love to hear from anyone who has a connection to this family or who could point me in the right direction. I would also be very grateful if sks in the local area could get a photo of the headstone of Marie KING who is buried at Dubbo Cemetery, General, Section R4B, Row 25, near the end. I am happy to pay costs. Thanks in advance Helen Dickinson Sydney
Hi Linda Thanks for the email, I'm a member of several lists for a few years now, and have decided to give this one a go, I haven't given any further details as these familes moved around the central districts quite regulary (and even changed names - hence McMunn / McIlmun) and were quite widespread, I'd like to see what attachments to the names pop up and then narrow them down with specifics - otherwise my initial email may have taken forever to read (LOL). I'll bombarb you all later with further details :) Thanks again for the email, and I look forward to being a part of this list. Cheers Naida.
Hi Naida - you are new, so we will be gentle. :) Can you please give us some clues as to where each of these families are in the AUS-NSW-CENTRAL area??? You will generally find there are good and kind people on here, but unless you give something like a location, you may not be displaying yourself to a maximum advantage. The more information you give, such as dates and maybe even occupations and first names, the more likely you are to have results.
