Lawrence came to Australia on the HMS Forth in August 1841 this parents were Patrick and Ellen Byrne nee Flynn he was born in Leitrim, Ireland about 1806. He married Sarah Cecilia Flynn in March 1842 at Roman Catholic Church, Windsor. Lawrence Senior died Jan 1862 at Windsor and is buried Windsor Cemetery his wife Sarah died Oct 1901, Riverstone and is buried Windsor Cemetery with Lawrence. They had 10 children Mary born 1843 Windsor married Joseph Latty 1867 died July 1923 buried Waverley Cemetery Ellen born 1844 Windsor never married died Sept 1890, Sydney buried Rookwood Patrick born 1845 Windsor died 1928 Michael born 1848 Windsor Sarah Beatrice born 1850 Windsor married Francis Swalder Rosa 1874 died 1932 Glebe Laurence born 1851 Windsor died Jan 1856 Windsor Bridget born 1853 Windsor married Francis Lawrence Shesby 1876 he died she re married John George 1891 Paddington Bridget then married William Thompson 1914 Bankstown and she died January 1934 buried at Waverley cemetery. Peter born 1855 Windsor Lawrence born Aug 1857 Windsor died Jun 1889, Redfern buried Rookwood James born Jan 1860 Have been unable to find out what happened to Michael, Peter and James I know that they were all alive when their mother died in 1901 and in 1890 and that James was living in Redfern when his brother died in 1889. In 1858 Lawrence helped his brother Francis and wife Catherine to come to Australia from England they also lived for some time at Windsor and their first child Mary was born at Windsor in May 1858 then in 1884 at the Benevolent Asylum she had a daughter Madeline then sometime after when I presume Madeline was about 10I think Mary died have been unable to find Mary's death. Madeline went to live with her Aunt Ellen in Reefton. Then in May 1863 at O'Connell Plains near Bathurst they had Ellen married in 1892 James Riley and again I have been unable to find James Riley. I would love to hear from anyone that is a descendants or can help me find the three Byrne/Byrnes brothers or can help me with anything else. Kind Regards Chris Baldivis, WA
