Cheers Trish Nowra NSW NATIONAL ARCHIVES OF AUSTRALIA - Naturalization File (50 pages) for Franciszek KOSCIK (b.2 May 1923), Nadzieja (b.20 December 1920) and Zygmunt (b.11 March 1946). The family was living at 54 Frederick Street, Blacktown-NSW, at the time (12 October 1859). They arrived in Melbourne aboard M.V. "Nelly" (orn "Neli III") on 13 November 1849.. Her parents were Trofin and Maria Tkatschenko (nee Olenik) who both died when she was 11 months old. Prior to arriving in Australia she is shown in Ukraine, Germany, Belgium and again Germany. Frank was born Huta-Poland, occupation Process Worker at Sydney Rubber Works on Cary Street at Drummoyne-NSW; parents look like Jan and Anor (?), mother dead. Son Zigmunt born 11 March 1946 at Dornstadt in Germany. Other details same as above. There are a lot more details when you trawl through the records. . There's also an arrival for Jan KOSCIK aboard "Orcades" Naples-Australia on 7 January 1950 (shown b.23 January 1927), and Sigmund KOSCIK (Australian javelin thrower) but I don't know if there's a connection.
