    3. Hi Hazel Found these on the 1904 telephone directory Bowring. J. 0., mgr. ,N.S.W. Fuel licono- mlsing Co., Ltd., 90 "Pitt-st., Sydney Bowring Jno., 11 Liverpool-st., Paddington Bowring Thos.' B., 9 Napier-st., N. Syd. Hope these help but none at Rooty Hill or Plumpton Cheers Joan Good morning I am trying to locate anyone who maybe researching a Thomas Bowring I have very little on him except he was living in the Rooty Hill/Plumpton area about 1865-1890. His residence was located on the corner of Rooty Hill Road North and Jersey Road. The only other fact that is not confirmed is that he built his home and possibly "Alroy" and could have been involved in building "The Woodstock Fruit Canning Company" at Plumpton. Also can someone be kind enough to check the 1903 Electoral Roll to see if he might have still be living in the Rooty Hill/Plumpton area in that period. 3. Hi Joan Thank you for the information it has given me something to work from. >From what you have sent perhaps he arrived with a family so will start at the beginning again and work forward. A lady who helped me recently has also sent some information on Thomas and it seems to point to him inventing something for the Woodstock Fruit Canning Company at Rooty Hill. Can I ask is the 1904 telephone directory on the net or cd? Regards Hazel
