Hi Hazel About what time period are you looking for the arrival of Thomas Bowring. On the AGCI index the only mention is a death at Cobar in 1913, no other date, held by SAG, whether this is your Thomas I don't know. The Ref for SAG is B7/11/240 page 6. On google there is a site for a Thomas Bowring, convict http://www.convictrecords.com.au/convicts/bowring/thomas/52693 Also other Thomas Bowring's. Cheers Joan Good morning I am hoping someone may have come across Thomas Bowring while researching. I have been trying to locate infromation on the genetleman for nearly 5 years and todate have only come up with the following: - He designed and built "Woodstock Fruit Cannery" at Plumpton for Walter Lamb and designed some of the equipment for the cannery. He also was the possible builder of Alroy House located today on Rooty Hill Road North, and had his house built on the corner of where Jersey Road meets Rooty Hill Road North. I have located most on this information on Trove but it is more family and his arrival in Australia I am trying to locate any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Most of the sources available I have checked but have not been able to locate further information. Thank you Hazel in Blacktown
