Dear Listers, Would be interested in hearing from more recent descendants of Henry Rotton, (son of Gilbert Rotton, UK), of "Blackdown", near Bathurst, NSW, and Walter and John Rotton, brothers, West Maitland and Singleton areas please, including photos of newer generations from originals in New South Wales. Have a book in mind to be named "Wonderfully Rotton", which includes notes on the Rotton family by Robert Joseph Duffield Rotton and Marion Runting (Pechey). Have noted quite a few "trees" on internet but am not building a tree but attempting to record something of their lives, which have contributed greatly to the foundation of our great country. Have listed some of the descendant surnames - Rotton (King's Norton UK and other branches), Pechey (Soham, Cambridgeshire), Horton, Hunt, Maclurken, Cram, Hunter, Litchfield, Currie, Curry, Keightley, Shewen (Dr. Alfred, Sydney), Scholes, Mackinnon, Wilkinson, Jacob, Solomons, Wansbrough, Smith, Hayley, Johnson, Johnstone, Singleton. This is just a small sample of surnames. (Do have information on Fanny Craddock) and Dr. Edith Phipson, and serving Rotton family in India, and older information on the Australian Rotton families and Percy family in USA.
