I was specifically after any additional information relating to their arrival. These are separate records entitled "ships papers" Descriptive note: The papers are arranged chronologically by ship and include such items as certificates of arrival, health reports, tenders, lists of immigrants leaving the ship without formal engagements, copies of contracts between immigrants and employers, and matrons' diaries. These items have not been digitised. However in scrolling down the page there appears to be a list of the ships to which these papers relate and the voyage of the Samuel Plimsoll that I am interested in is not listed. I am assuming that this may mean that there is no additional information but I would welcome any comments from anyone who has previously used this resource. Greetings Ann This may not be of much help but you never know so here goes If you google burials at Gladesville hospital you will find an SMH article about those buried there you may find that this article gives some clues about how to find other data sources about the hospital I my search for burials into the Balmain Catholic cemetery, I purchased six death transcriptions which showed the place of burial as Gladesville Hospital, if you email the name of the person you are researching, I will have a look. it's a lond shot but you never know all the best Patrick Email [email protected]
