Hi Dianna I've always assumed that the numbers grouped together for the same name would be in the same household, but I'm not sure...perhaps another lister may be able to verify this. It was shown as Herbert on the roll. Perhaps Emma is a niece! As you know her married name could you look for a death/funeral notice and search the newspapers TROVE to see if anything or anyone is named at her funeral? Cheers Joan HI Joan Thanks very much for that am I to assume then (do you think) that Emma Bridget and Herbert (should be Hubert) are sharing the same household?? Ellen is my GGGrandmother and Elizabeth and Hubert Gavin are her children, don't know how Emma fits in though. Kind regards Dianna
Hi Joan I did find her Emma Thompson on the Ryerson index, not on Trove as yet. Would be interesting to see this, will check it out next time I'm in the library. Perhaps then I will be able to make a connection. Maybe more of my family came out from Scotland. Many thanks Dianna
HI again Joan I could not find any newspapers on TROVE that go up to 1955?? SMHerald seems to end at 1954. Not sure if that is correct. Dianna
